RE:Allegro Refund Information
The Allegro refund process has not yet begun. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Alabama has released the following information:

As of May 19, 2010, Allegro Law clients should have received a Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case. There is no action that you may take until you receive the Proof of Claims Form from the court appointed trustee. This form is expected to be mailed "within weeks" of the Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case that you should have already received.

RE:Allegro Refund Information
I had the same thing happen.  I went to my bank and filled out the paperwork to dispute the charge to my account.  Money was returnedt o my account in 2 days.  Make payments directly to your creditors ASAP.

RE:Allegro Refund Information
Please note that Allegro Law provided both debt settlement plans and debt management programs. Existing receivership may be changing due to a bankruptcy filing of Allegro Law and new documents filed by Daniel Hamm regarding receivership.

Debt settlement clients should stay aware of developments if they want to pursue claims for a partial refund. Debt management clients should immediately switch to an alternative provider to avoid an interruption in their payments. Of course, we recommend making sure that you are using a reputable credit counseling organization that has at least an "A-" rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Allegro Refund Information
Allegro Law LLC and Allegro Financial Services LLC have been seized by the court due to violations of numerous laws. Only $12 million dollars is available for the 15,000 clients, which averages out to only $800 per client. It is expected that refunds will be made as a percentage of what each client has paid into the program.

To register your claim, contact the court appointed receiver:
