Saving Money with Coupons |

Would you like to use coupons to save money and have fun? If so, just read and use the following tips from other consumers. First, be sure to get and use your card from a store chain that you use regularly; for example, CVS. The coupons that you get can be worth, for example, $26 in a booklet.
If you use manufacturer's coupons, check with your grocery store to see if they accept expired coupons. A grocery store in Wisconsin called "Cub Foods" takes them, as long as they are dated within 6 months prior to actual expiration date.
ShopAtHome.com is a great source for free printable grocery coupons. You can print grocery coupons online from high-quality grocery brand names, and they are ready for you to use right away. Coupon collections on this website include local neighborhood coupons, grocery coupons and coupons that can be redeemed online. It may be that your favorite store has coupons for their brand online. You simply go to their website, follow the prompts to order them and wait for them to be mailed. Many stores have a different selection every week, and it may take 1-2 weeks for you to receive them. But usually the coupons are good for three months.
One consumer says that she shops the ads, uses the Value Page for that store from the paper, and uses coupons. She manages with these three strategies to cut her grocery bill in half. It takes some time collecting, and some time sorting, but if she saves $60 a week and spends three hours on it, she can make $20 an hour.
You can also save money by making sure to follow up with rebate forms when you buy a new product. Make a copy of the form right away, just in case they take the rebate form offline. You should mail in the rebate immediately after receipt of the item; otherwise it is an important detail that you might forget. You should mark on your calendar the date, or range of dates, that your check is expected to arrive. This will allow you follow up with the company if you do not receive the check on time. You can get back considerable money with rebates, but they can be time consuming, requiring good attention to detail in following the rebate instructions.
The more well-known the company is (the company itself, not the company's products), the more likely it is that you will get your rebate. Dealing with rebates is risky, so make sure that the product is worth its full price in case you never receive your rebate check.
Just spend a little time looking and organizing, and your savings with coupons and rebates can be well worth your time!
